WILL THERE BE FOOD AT THE FESTIVAL?Yes! A variety of food vendors, food trucks, beer garden, and non-alcoholic beverages will be available. Check out the list of food options on the Vendor page.

WILL THERE BE ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN?Yes! Dragon Land will feature a face painter and inflatable for kids to enjoy.

HOW LONG WILL THE EVENT LAST?Opening Ceremonies begin at 10:00 am! Races will start at 11am and run all day until the winner is announced at 3:45pm. Check out the online schedule to stay updated!

WHERE SHOULD WE PARK?$10 all-day parking will be available in the lots of Nissan Stadium, adjacent to the east bank landing. We encourage carpooling, rideshare, public transportation, or using the nearby greenway routes to commute to the Dragon Boat Festival.

CAN I BRING MY DOG?Yes! The festival is pet-friendly. Metro Parks asks that all dogs remain on the leash while in Cumberland Park and you are responsible for cleaning up after your pet.

WHO FACILITATES THE DRAGON BOAT RACES?The Cumberland River Compact hires the experienced team at Dynamic Dragon Boat Racing to facilitate the Dragon Boat Races.

HOW LONG IS A DRAGON BOAT?A Dynamic Dragon Boat is 46' long.

HOW MANY PEOPLE SIT IN A DRAGON BOAT20 paddlers 1 drummer 1 steerer (provided by Dynamic Dragon Boat Racing) There must be at least 8 women on your team as per Dynamic Dragon Boat Racing Rules and Regulations.

WHAT IS THE FORMAT OF THE RACE?There are two types of teams: Club and community. Each team will participate in two 200 meter races on the Cumberland River. The average of the first two races race times determines who will advance to the final round. The top teams in each team type will be awarded gold, silver, and bronze.

HOW WILL I BE ABLE TO TRACK RACE RESULTS?All race results are posted on the Dynamic Dragon Boat Racing app throughout the day so you won't miss any race results! The app is available on Google Play or in the App Store
